Spanish Institute of Puebla

In a nutshell, the program was everything the brochure and internet said it would be. It is well organized and well managed. If you are serious about learning Spanish, it is definitely the place to go... a good investment, without any doubt!

I believe the goal of speaking Spanish fluently is being achieved through the Institute. Partly because of grammar training, but mostly through the conversation class in which I can apply what is learned in class and be encouraged and corrected by the conversation instructors.

I came to the program speaking zero Spanish. Four weeks later, I can have conversations with taxi drivers (who speak almost as fast as they drive) and anyone I meet in the street. I was watching a telenovela the other night and I could understand the storyline. This Institute is fantastic and I couldn't rate it more highly.

This was my third time at the Institute and the quality of the program has been consistently outstanding. I had a great improvement in grammar, listening and conversation.

The duration of my classes was short, 2 weeks, but the tutor really impressed me. I had a great teacher and amazing person, really intelligent and always willing to give more.

In my first 4 weeks of the program I learned to speak Spanish to be able to communicate with my host family. When I came here I couldn't speak any Spanish. The atmosphere in my class was wonderful and in the afternoons I learned a lot about Mexico.

Despite the books that suggest you can "learn Spanish in 7 days", language learning is a gradual process. However, the focus on conversing and the excellent support provided by the school has meant that I genuinely feel more confident speaking the language in 2 weeks.

I only attended the morning classes which have been extremely good. My teacher has been very good at dividing the classes in reading, conversation, topics related to Mexico, and life in general. I really enjoyed it as well as I learned a lot.

Very personal. It was great that we could have 5 days of class and also practice in the weekends. I learned a lot. Now I just have to practice.

The idea of living in Mexico for four weeks was a little intimidating before I arrived. The structure of the Institute made everything a breeze. I concentrated on Spanish and learned a ton. I know I am not a fast learner of languages, and now I can easily communicate in Spanish.

As a language instructor and language teacher I was trilled to have the opportunity to be on the other side of the classroom...
